Welcome to the Saint Paul Winter Carnival!  We have put together some information for you, but please contact us if you’re not finding what you need. We’re happy to help you!

Location

Saint Paul is located approximately 30 minutes from the Minneapolis/Saint Paul airport and is easily accessible by car, bus or light rail. Enjoy the festivities and then set out to enjoy Saint Paul and all that it has to offer.  The majority of our events take place in and near Rice Park in downtown Saint Paul.  We also have many events at the MN State Fairgrounds (about 10 miles from Rice Park) and throughout Saint Paul.

Cost

Many of our events are free or low cost. The majority of the activities at Rice Park and the Vulcan Snow Park are free. Many Landmark Center activities including Kids’ and Family Day are free as well. Visit our event calendar to review activities and cost.

Preferred Hotels

Looking for a place to stay and enjoy the festivities? Hotels may offer a special Winter Carnival discount if you ask. 

Official Weather Forecast

5 Eyewitness News is proud to be Minnesota’s Weather Authority and Len Barlow & Wren Clair are excited to serve as the official meteorologists for the Saint Paul Winter Carnival.  They both know Minnesota weather can change quickly.  Get their “Forecast First” at 10 p.m. so you can enjoy all the Winter Carnival has to offer.
