The Saint Paul Civic Symphony will present a FREE concert of “Hot and Cool Classics” in the beautiful Landmark Center Cortile, with the theme “Planes, Trains & Automobiles” and performing the four pieces below:

Converse: Flivver Ten Million

2025 marks the Centenary of the opening of the Ford Motor Co. Assembly Plant in Saint Paul (on the east bank of the Mississippi River in the Highland neighborhood in St Paul).

The featured piece on our concert is “Flivver Ten Million”, which depicts in musical terms the “life” of the ten-millionth Model T Ford that rolled off the production line. Back in the day, Ford’s Model Ts were made at the Saint Paul Ford assembly plant.
