Public Button Unveiling
Saturday, Dec 7 @ 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
The crowd favorite event is back and bigger than ever. Our public button reveal, tree lighting and movie night will take place on Saturday, December 7th.
Festivities kick-off at 5 PM with the unveiling of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival 2025 buttons! Then watch live entertainment from 5:30-6:30 PM with The Mistletones and then make your way to the North Plaza for the Tree Lighting Ceremony at 7 PM. Finish the evening with the showing of a classic holiday movie, to be announced soon. The tree will be lit through the remainder of December on the North Plaza, the perfect back drop for family holiday photos!

This is a free community event open to the public. No tickets are necessary.
Visit the European Christmas Market on the East Plaza while you’re here! Shop for unique, handmade holiday gifts and decorations from local vendors, drink Glühwein (spiced mulled wine), and taste European inspired food and delicacies.
