Mayor Melvin Carter and the City of Saint Paul will host the first-ever Mayor’s Cup hockey game bringing together the Saint Paul Edgcumbe Youth Hockey Association and the City of Lakes Youth Hockey Association. The free event, co-hosted by Minnesota Sports and Events, is part of the lead up to the 2026 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Juniors Championship.

This fun, new event will feature a regulation game between peewee teams from the Saint Paul Edgcumbe and the City of Lakes Youth Hockey Associations. Join Neal Broten and Jordan Leopold, our celebrity honorary coaches. There will be a DJ, free parking, refreshments, a grand player introduction and the National Anthem will be sung by a local youth choir.
